From the very start of the COVID crisis, he began collecting—on a weekly basis—all available data from the websites of EUROSTAT, INSEE, DREES, and various ministries—including mortality rates, hospital bed occupancy, test positivity rates, age groups, and causes of death. He regularly publishes his analyses on his YouTube channel “Décoder l’éco,” based on a simple principle: to show how the same official figures can mean one thing and its opposite depending on how they are presented.

What he discovered sparked a silent scandal. The age-standardized mortality rate for 2020 is on par with that of 2015—the seventh-lowest mortality year in French history. The rate for 2021 is on par with that of 2018. The raw figures presented by the media and public authorities are incomplete, truncated, and deliberately stripped of their demographic context. The public health panic is based on documented statistical manipulation.

His first book, published in January 2023 by Éditions L’Artilleur, has sold over 40,000 copies across all formats. He donates his royalties to organizations representing vaccine victims—notably “Où est mon cycle.” His second book, dedicated to victims of COVID vaccines, was published in January 2025 with the same uncompromising commitment.

By working with standardized data broken down by age group—rather than the raw figures endlessly repeated by the media—Pierre Chaillot highlights conclusions that health authorities have never wanted to officially publish:

On COVID mortality: the standardized mortality rate for 2020 is on par with that of 2015, the seventh-lowest mortality year in French history. The 2021 mortality rate is on par with 2018. Life expectancy in 2020 is identical to that of 2015. The raw figures artificially inflated the perception of a catastrophe by failing to account for the aging population.

Regarding vaccines: starting in 2021, there has been an increase in excess mortality among young people—which was absent during the COVID waves—as well as a general collapse in birth rates across all vaccinated countries. Pharmacovigilance databases in all countries are recording serious adverse events (strokes, heart attacks, cancers, myocarditis, amenorrhea) in numbers unprecedented for any other vaccine.

Regarding testing: the positivity rate of PCR tests—as calculated and presented by the authorities—was a construct that Pierre Chaillot demonstrated to be misleading and manipulated, artificially adjusting the perception of the spread

Pierre Chaillot did not go unanswered by the media establishment he has upset. His analysis of standardized deaths for the year 2020—which honestly compared the 2017 flu to COVID-19—was the subject of a scathing article by Le Monde’s “Décodeurs” column, to which he responded point by point, drawing on the same official sources.

He discovered that YouTube was not the only one engaging in censorship: the mainstream media had taken the lead in discrediting any attempt at dissent, without ever addressing the substance of his arguments—only the reputation of the man presenting them. An ad hominem strategy of disqualification in lieu of scientific debate.

In response, he has systematically made all his data and sources available to the public, allowing anyone to verify each of his claims. His royalties are donated to victims’ organizations. His books are published outside the major distribution channels controlled by subsidized media conglomerates.
