Christian Tal Schaller — born September 11, 1944 in Saint-Palais-sur-Mer, died November 18, 2025 at the age of 81 — was one of the most emblematic and controversial figures of French-speaking alternative medicine. A doctor by training, graduated in Geneva, he chose very early on to break with conventional medical dogma to explore a territory that his contemporaries then considered marginal: holistic health, living food, naturopathy, and the systematic questioning of the pharmaceutical industry.
He was a student of the great homeopath Pierre Schmidt, trained in acupuncture by Dr. Paul Nogier, and a disciple of Professor Bordeaux-Szekely in natural nutrition. To this academic knowledge were added years of exploring shamanism, transpersonal psychology, and ancestral medicines from the four corners of the world. His vision was clear: disease is not a fatality, it is the signal of an imbalance — and nature, if left to do so, is the best therapist.
With more than 60 published books, tens of thousands of conferences attended worldwide, a foundation recognized as being of public utility, a publishing house, and a censored YouTube channel with over 90,000 subscribers, Tal Schaller never stopped teaching, alerting, and passing on knowledge. The issue of vaccines and medical autonomy was at the heart of his fight until the end. He simply called it: "health is something you learn".

Met Johanne Razanamahay, who became his wife and co-teacher. Together they led courses, seminars, and workshops around the world. Founding of the Global Health Institute in Taulignan (Drôme).
2004
Publication of "Vaccines are poisons". Trouble with French law for organizing courses during a period of prohibition. Sentenced to a €20,000 fine. He nonetheless continued to publish and lecture.
2009
Published "Vaccines, a global genocide?" during the H1N1 pandemic. Publicly opposed the mass vaccination campaign.
2012
"Get out of collective hypnosis — The end of the great lies". His YouTube channel exceeds 90,000 subscribers. Becomes a major figure in French-speaking alternative health.
2020
COVID-19 pandemic. Tal Schaller enters into total resistance against health measures. In May 2020, his YouTube live with Thierry Casasnovas, Jean-Jacques Crèvecœur, and Silvano Trotta gathers 575,000 views. Calls COVID a "pseudo-virus" and vaccines an "immense hoax".
2021
His YouTube channel is deleted. He migrates to Odysee and becomes a regular contributor to the show L'info en question with Jean-Jacques Crèvecœur, Chloé Frammery, and Salim Laïbi.
2025
Dies on November 18, 2025, at age 81, suddenly according to his relatives. "Tal was still overflowing with energy, projects, and humor," testify those who knew him. He leaves behind a body of work of over 60 books and a global community.
