Claire Séverac — born in Béziers on April 9, 1948, passed away on December 25, 2016 — was both an accomplished artist and a rare dissenting voice, capable of crossing continents and genres to follow a single compass: the truth. Of a Basque mother and an Occitan father, she studied political science before pursuing a career in music, first in France, then in Los Angeles where she lived from 1985 to 1997.
In Hollywood, her songs were recorded by artists of the caliber of Donna Summer, Pat Benatar, Emmylou Harris, Willy DeVille, Crystal Gayle, Toto, Chicago. In 1985, she sang a duet with actor David Soul titled Amoureux sans bagages, which became a hit. All this time, she observed, she investigated, she gathered evidence on what institutions did not want to see.
Upon returning to France, she dedicated herself entirely to investigative journalism and writing. Her books — bestsellers in alternative networks — exposed step by step the alliances between the pharmaceutical industry, agribusiness, and global power structures. She was one of the first to publicly and extensively document the dangers of chemtrails, HAARP, GMOs, GSM antennas, mass vaccination, and transhumanism.
She passed away on December 25, 2016, from cancer that occurred extremely suddenly, according to her relatives. Her death remains, for those who knew her, an open question.
What she exposed — what she endured
Claire Séverac did not choose the easy path. After an international artistic career, she could have stayed silent and lived comfortably off her fame. She chose the opposite: years of unpaid investigation, conferences across France, books published at her own expense, a publishing house founded with her own money — Élie & Mado — to bypass official channels.
Her themes were consistent and interconnected: pharmaceutical industry and vaccines, pesticides and GMOs, aerial spraying (chemtrails), electromagnetic waves, organized food crime. She documented the alliances between chemical cartels, banks, and political decision-makers at a time when the word "conspiracy theorist" was already used to disqualify any inconvenient investigation.
She died before seeing the 2020 pandemic — the mechanisms of which she had anticipated with disturbing precision. Her books, long ignored by mainstream media, were re-read after COVID with a new perspective.

Her works remain available. Her books are still circulating. Her conferences, archived on alternative platforms, continue to reach new readers — with a particular echo since 2020, when the mechanisms she had documented became visible to the masses.
