Who is Le Gaulois

With a deep-seated aversion to injustice, the man who calls himself “Le Gaulois” found himself on the front lines of citizen mobilizations very early on. His nom de guerre draws on a professed attachment to the land and to history: that of Vercingetorix, Joan of Arc, and Jean Moulin—figures of resistance whom he cites as sources of inspiration, grounded in values he holds above all else: Courage, Honor, and Dignity.

He actively participated in the Yellow Vests movement from its very beginning, a hands-on commitment that led to his being held in police custody for 18 hours and a conviction. He then mobilized against the introduction of the health pass, continuing on the ground a committed and sustained civic engagement that has spanned several years.

Today, he continues to be a voice for citizen resistance through his YouTube channel “38 Résistance Gauloise” and by regularly appearing on TV shows and in interviews.
