The beginning of the plundering — 1998

As an engineer with a degree from a prestigious French engineering school, I was evicted in 1998 and stripped of my property and income by an organized network involving corrupt law enforcement officials, who were later convicted of forgery and corruption.

This network was involved in the massive trafficking of police files: approximately 20,000 files were stolen over 17 months and resold for an estimated value of €600,000. Documents from the investigation suggest the involvement of organized networks of influence.

A representative of a national community organization acted as the opposing attorney in my divorce proceedings and subjected me to unacceptable pressure: to accept less than 10% of my assets in exchange for dropping the charges.

An Organized Network Obstructing Justice

Throughout my legal proceedings, a coordinated network has worked to hinder the disclosure of evidence: corrupt lawyers, compromised court officials, complicit judges, and dishonest court officers.

Despite evidence submitted to the courts since 2003, the protections granted to the defendants have persisted for 28 years, making any effective defense virtually impossible.

“The loss of assets I have suffered is estimated at 95% of my net worth. As an engineer by training, I was forced to rely on basic social assistance (RSA). Funds from the marital community were concealed in third-party accounts as early as 2002. Approximately €100,000 (INSEE value for 2025) was withdrawn in cash, and I was never able to obtain a bank audit.”

The Retaliation I Suffered

In response to my actions and reports, I suffered retaliation of exceptional severity:

14 months of incarceration
6 months of electronic monitoring
A skull fracture caused by an LBD round fired while I was leaving my home

Results Achieved Despite the Obstacles

My investigations and reports nevertheless produced concrete results:

⚖️ In 2003, two police officers were placed in pretrial detention for three months following my reports to the Paris courts
🚫 Two officials (a police officer and a bailiff) were disbarred from their professions
💶 The tax authorities imposed more than one million euros in tax assessments

However, the majority of those implicated have enjoyed persistent impunity.

Civic Engagement and Continued Action

Through my work with three victim advocacy organizations, I have observed that hundreds of people are victims of similar practices: invasions of privacy, asset stripping, and denial of justice.

Since 2003, I have been documenting and publicizing institutional failures. I continue my efforts to ensure that flawed judgments are reviewed and that the government compensates victims for the harm caused by the illegal activities of its officials.
